Young students of grades 1, 2 & 3 were thrilled to be a part of colourful, energizing, and vibrant ‘Dance Competition’ recently organized by Presidium, Palam Vihar. To explore their hidden talents this inter-class event was conducted, in which students came dressed in colourful costumes to follow the different themes as per their grades. Students were delighted to perform on patriotic, folk and western dance numbers. A state of awe and excitement was witnessed by everyone among the participants and the audience. The happiness of the children was amply evident with applause and appreciation.

YOUNG PRESIDIANS PERFORM ARDENTLY IN SPELLATHON COMPETITION

A Spellathon competition was recently held at Presidium Palam Vihar and was conducted among students of grades nursery and prep. The students participated with maximum gusto in two rounds. In the first round, they identified pictures and filled in the missing letters. In the second round, students tried to write words on a sheet as the teachers dictated. All these activities promoted their speech recognition, vocabulary and other phonic skills and talents. This competition was a rather amazing platform for students to learn new words, enhance their vocabulary and concentrate on language building.

It is believed that creativity is a great motivator because it makes people interested in what they are doing. To encourage imagination and creativity amongst the students of Grades 4 and 5 Presidium - Palam Vihar recently organized 'Puppet Making Competition'. All the students enthusiastically participated in the competition and made innovative & attractive puppets by using different materials, like socks, ribbons, colored papers, etc, on the themes of family, animals, birds and cartoon characters. The objective to encourage the craftsmanship and artfulness of the students, was successfully attained on this day!

Students of Presidium, Palam Vihar, recently organized a special assembly to celebrate the occasion of ‘Basant Panchami’, the festival that marks the onset of the spring season. Dressed beautifully in yellow coloured clothes, students offered flowers to Goddess Saraswati.
