DELIGHTFUL CELEBRATION OF EID AL-ADHA ENTHRALLS YOUNG PRESIDIANS

With a purpose of spreading a message of unity and peace, young Presidians put forward an astonishing assembly on the auspicious festival of Eid-al-Adha. The spiritual and religious journey initiated with a soulful and melodious qawwali and a skit to enlighten all about the pious festival and its history. The leaders of tomorrow also staged a rhythmic dance performance on the song 'Khawaja mere Khawaja'. The whole experience was mesmerizing for the spectators.

INTER-CLASS QUIZ COMPETITION:BUILDING TEAM SPIRIT IN PRESIDIANS

A quiz is a game or a mind sport, wherein the players, either as individuals or in teams, attempt to answer questions posed to them correctly!
To adopt a fun way to study and improve general knowledge of our little ones, Presidium Palam Vihar recently organized an inter-class quiz competition for grades Nursery and Prep. Students were asked to prepare on themes like 'myself' and 'animals' to enable them to think out of the box. With the mission to promote a healthy debate amongst participants and aid in language development, the quiz was a huge hit. Besides provoking intellectual discussions, it also helped in building team spirit and soft skills of our young learners.

To celebrate the glorious occasion of India's 71st Independence Day, Presidians of Palam Vihar recently came together proudly. The national flag was hoisted in the school building, followed by singing of the National Anthem. Thereafter, a captivating cultural programme was spearheaded, which included recitation of patriotic poems and songs by the students. Some students presented small skits and delivered crisp speeches to share about the supreme sacrifice the great martyrs made for the sake of freedom. Marking the importance of freedom, this historic day inspired Presidians to become ideal citizens of the country.

Sometimes all you need is a little splash of colours!
Colouring makes children happy! Realizing the boundless love of little ones to colour the walls with innocent scribbling, a fun-filled colouring competition was organized at Presidium, Palam Vihar. The main objective behind this competition was to explore and encourage the creativity of our artistic Presidians and offer them a platform to showcase their colouring skills. They proactively participated in this opportunity to paint the town in their own colours and learned more by interacting with their classmates. Inspiring the tiny artists to think and work creatively, the activity promoted the students to meticulously play with colours.

Declamation is a rhetoric exercise of speech to recreate a famous speech. It not only enables students to think critically but also develops their public speaking and oratory skills. With the same objective Presidium Palam Vihar organised a declamation Competition. Our students enthusiastically participated in the event and recreated famous speeches of various global leaders on various topics such as Life in Urban Jungle, Global Terrorism, Racial Discrimination etc.
The students performed with great confidence and clarity, keeping in mind the structure and rules of the competition. Their expressions and declaration added to their oratory skills and impressed their teachers and peers.
Organising such events at school level, boosts confidence and sharpens the speech and public speaking skills in students.
