The colours of Baisakhi was reflected in a special morning assembly conducted at Presidium Palam Vihar. The children were dressed in Punjabi attire, brought yellow cuisines as their meals and performed on various dance items. The school choir group also presented a group song. The students were told about the origin and value of Baisakhi. The significance of Baisakhi and the various ways by which people celebrate this great harvesting festival all over India was briefed in the assembly. Principal Shelly Banga acknowledged the diligence of students and teachers and congratulated all of them for making the event possible.
